Google Android Canary's First Update of the New Year: Pixel 9 Enables Android-Apple File Transfer
The cross-system barrier between Android and Apple is broken again! Google's Android Canary 2026's first update of the new year is here, and the Pixel 9 series finally supports Quick Share and AirDrop interoperability.
Previously, users with both Android and Apple devices had to rely on third-party apps and data cables for file transfer. Now, native cross-system transfer is directly available! Applicable models: Pixel 6a and later models, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, etc. Users with the Canary version installed can upgrade via OTA; other users need to manually flash the update (Friendly reminder: Canary is an experimental version, it is recommended to experience it on a secondary device and back up your data beforehand).
